THE DOT CHARITABLE FOUNDATION’S 2ND ANNUAL RAFFLE DRAW

The 2nd annual Raffle draw fundraising event of The DOT Charitable Foundation was held on Saturday the 30th November at Cherrybrook Community Centre. It was a huge success with live music and over 120 well-wishers in attendance.

Event commenced with lightening of traditional oil lamp by seven school children.

“Star Village”, a young music group, entertained the audience throughout the evening. There were many old Sinhala classics and few Hindi film songs performed by well-known Sydney artists.

On the key note address it was said, “Good health is something we take for granted in our children. Every loving parents wish is that their children enjoy a happy and carefree childhood, without worry or pain. Sadly, some children are not so fortunate and can suffer from life threatening illnesses which require medical care. On such time they should be provided with all the help we can.”

Highlight of the evening was the raffle draw and we wish to congratulate all winners.

The DOT Charitable Foundation wishes to convey their sincerest gratitude to all those who attended, sold the tickets, prepared the food, arranged the venue and enjoyed the evening with us.
