It goes without saying, our 4th Ladies Charity Night held on July 7, 2022 was a huge success! We want to thank each one of you for making it a memorable event.

FUNDRAISING RAFFLE DRAW 2016

The 4th annual raffle draw fundraising event of The DOT Charitable Foundation was held on Saturday the 26th March 2016 at Don Moor Community centre with the patronage of donors, supporters and well-wishers in Sydney.

 

The event commenced with the lighting of the traditional oil lamp by children.

Special thanks go to our talented young artists “The Pulse” band members, Thisal and the team. Thank you so much for your dedication and commitment. It was a wonderful show in support of sick children in Sri Lanka and gave us a memorable evening.

Thanks to our talented artists for the wonderful evening. There were many volunteers to prepare food, arrange the venue, transport, photography, MC, Tickets sales and many other behind the stage support. The DOT Charitable Foundation wishes to convey their sincerest gratitude to all those who attended and enjoyed the evening with us.

Hope you had enjoyed the evening. Many thanks to everyone for your kind hearted support.

The Foundation with the help of generous well-wishers will continue to provide financial and moral support to sick children and young adults from none affluent backgrounds in Sri Lanka.

 

Funds raised will be used to donate a monitor to Padavia hospital, provide free early childhood education to children in Lunugamvehera “Sigithi pera pasala” and individually help sick children on their medical expenses.

We are looking forward to another exciting fundraising event in September 2016.

THE DOT LADIES SPRING CHARITY NIGHT 2016

The DOT charity held their inaugural ladies spring charity night fund raiser on the 17th of September 2016 at the Cherrybrook community hall.  Over 350 beautiful ladies graced the occasion adorned in vibrant and colourful sarees.

The Guest of Honour included Deputy High Commissioner for Sri Lanka Ms Himalee Arunatilaka and Sydney Consul for Sri Lanka Ms Pramuditha Manusinghe.

The guests were kept entertained with fashion shows, Bollywood dance shows, cooking demonstration, DJ music and delicious food.

Proceeds from this night will be used to purchase an incubator to Puttlam hospital, and to build a toilet to a very poor family. Information of this project will be sent out to your once they are finalised.

A big thank you to Hornsby Council which offered the venue free of charge.

We would like to take this opportunity to extend our sincere appreciation and thanks to our generous donors and sponsors for all their support and encouragement.

Also our thanks to fashion show producers and choreographers, all the beautiful models, performers, their parents, members and their families, all our friend’s and well-wishers who dedicated their valuable time to make this event a success. FUNDRAISING RAFFLE DRAW 2015

The DOT Hope Home for Children’s annual fundraising raffle draw was held on Saturday the 14th at Donn Moore Community Centre, North Rocks. It was a hugely successful fundraising event which was for providing support for under privileged children in Sri Lanka. The funds raised will be used to build a preschool in rural village of Ahagolyaya, Malsiripura.

Champa Udawela and Melani Muramudaly welcomed the guests to the raffle draw and Paduru Sajjaya. A talented Sydney based group of musicians and artists led by Kasun Wikrama entertained the night with old Sri Lankan songs. The event was organised and compered by Sujeewa Mudalige. On behalf of the DOT foundation we would like to extend for our sincere gratitude to the musicians, artists, media, sponsors, volunteers and well-wishers.
